Position Overview
The Control Room Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the control room in a cement manufacturing facility. This role ensures efficient production processes while maintaining safety standards and optimizing performance. The supervisor will lead a team of operators, monitor equipment, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of control room operators to ensure effective plant operations.
• Monitor and control the cement production processes from the control room.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the control room and production areas.
• Conduct regular field inspections to assess equipment and operational conditions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Lead training and development initiatives for control room staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cement industry operations, particularly in control room management.
• Strong knowledge of cement production processes, including kiln and grinding operations.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols, such as MSHA requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operational performance.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
