The ideal candidate:
- Has a proven track record of working in construction and/or transportation
- Thrives in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Gets excited about construction projects as well as completing assignments on time
- Is self-oriented, organized, a great communicator, and approachable
- Is comfortable working within a team environment at the project site
Key responsibilities/skills:
- Prepares and submits customer invoices
- Codes, posts invoices in accounting system
- Researches and solves payment discrepancies
- Documents financial transactions by entering account information
- Maintains financial security by following internal control
- Processes weekly accounts payable payments in accounting system
- Checks, verifies, and enters invoices for payment
- Sorts, codes, and enters accounts payable data
- Analyzes discrepancies and unpaid invoices
- Collects, confirms, and processes timesheets
- Provides administrative support for the Accounting Supervisor
- Finds and uses accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
- Performs filing and general administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
