Computed Tomography XR Technologist

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $37.35 - $52.29 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer (valid card in-hand before start date).

Your Role:

• Deliver exceptional patient care through various imaging and radiologic procedures.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve outstanding outcomes.
• Guide and mentor new imaging team members.

• Ensure safety and quality at every stage of patient care.

As a CT Technologist:

• Review patient history, initiate CT images based on physician orders, and prioritize patient education for optimal cooperation.
• Safely administer contrast media while monitoring patient conditions closely.
• Respond to and report changes in patient conditions appropriately.
• Implement techniques for quality imaging and equipment functionality following best practices in Radiology (AART).
• May perform 3-D post-processing while managing, transmitting, and reporting scan results.
