ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform CT procedures independently while ensuring high-quality standards.
• Gather patient history, explain procedures, and address any concerns effectively.
• Produce radiographic images using computerized tomographic scanners in accordance with departmental protocols.
• Apply ionizing radiation safely during a variety of technical procedures to detect pathology.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including exposure settings and PACS documentations.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment while adhering to SimonMed Imaging standards.
• Foster a professional rapport with colleagues, departmental staff, and facility personnel.
• Utilize standard concepts and practices within the field of radiology.
• Leverage experience and sound judgment to meet objectives effectively.
• Work under general supervision to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess certification as a Radiologic and Computerized Tomography Technologist as mandated by state regulations.
• Certification as an RT and CT Technologist by A.R.R.T. is required.
• Current CPR certification is essential.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The role may involve lifting and carrying items up to 40 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting, along with frequent standing and walking.

DRESS CODE: Business Casual or scrubs, depending on departmental requirements.
