FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $37.35 - $52.29 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered or eligible for completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure is required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Experience: 2 years (preferred).
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with a card in hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for sixty days following hire.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patient history and generating Computed Tomography images based on physician orders while effectively educating patients for optimal cooperation.
• Safely administering contrast media or imaging medications while monitoring patient conditions.
• Responding to and reporting any changes in patient conditions as necessary.
• Implementing techniques that ensure high-quality images and optimal equipment functionality in line with best practices in Radiology (ARRT).
• Performing 3-D post-processing when required and accurately entering and transmitting scan results.
