Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to become a vital part of our dynamic healthcare team. With 23 locations across Arkansas, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients.

ABOUT US:
As an affiliate of Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast, our clinics deliver quality and affordable healthcare. Our convenient walk-in centers offer treatment for injuries and illnesses, as well as occupational health and wellness services. We are open seven days a week, with our Conway-Oak Street location serving patients on weekends from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

YOUR ROLE:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and care. Our full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts on weekdays and every-other weekend availability. We also welcome PRN (per diem) team members to join us as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
• Record health histories and relay abnormal conditions to physicians.
• Instruct patients on sample collection and tests.
• Obtain vital signs and assist patients to examination rooms.
• Prepare supplies and equipment for physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Administer injections and prescribed medications per physician directives.
• Document patient conditions and reactions accurately in charts.
• Assist with scheduling tests, treatments, and referrals to specialists.
• Manage medical inventories and ensure proper handling of supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms between appointments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Preferred: A minimum of two years' experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Must hold a valid LPN license in accordance with state regulations.
