CNC Programmer

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a CNC Programmer in Eldridge, IA!

Schedule is Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM. Pay rate is $28-30/hour, depending on experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and write programs at the controller for various parts using Mazatrol and FANUC controllers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Align and secure materials on machines; position parts into jigs, fixtures, and guides using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Select and manage appropriate tooling for each job.
• Apply proper tooling techniques for specific applications.
• Identify worn tooling and make adjustments to maintain required tolerances.
• Verify material grade, size, and quantity through visual inspection and measurement.

Requirements

• Must successfully pass a skills-based assessment covering reading, math, inspection/measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 13 years of experience operating CNC vertical machining centers.
• Hands-on experience with FANUC and Mazatrol controllers.
• Strong working knowledge of G and M codes for vertical machining centers.
• Familiarity with CAD software related to CNC machining.
• Advanced math skills with the ability to calculate feeds and speeds.
• Proficiency with measurement tools, including tape measure, micrometer, and caliper.
• Ability to meet physical requirements for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Successful candidates will participate in a registered apprenticeship program as part of onboarding and training.
