Department Details

We are eager to welcome a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to our team. You will be integral in supporting our General Surgeons while providing exceptional patient care. Enjoy a weekday schedule (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm) and the potential for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for eligible candidates in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant (MA), you will operate within your defined scope of practice, gathering both subjective and objective health data from patients and effectively communicating that data to healthcare providers. Your responsibilities include:

• Participating in patient care by assisting licensed healthcare professionals.
• Following the patient’s plan of care under provider direction.
• Communicating care instructions to patients or caregivers.
• Providing care across all phases of preventative health and follow-up.
• Performing specialized clinical duties including obtaining vital signs and conducting point-of-care testing.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Prior healthcare experience is preferred.
• National certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (MA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment.
