Cloud FinOps Internship Summer 2026

Internship Opportunity

This is a full time, 14-week hybrid summer internship that will occur during one of the below time frames:

1. May 4 August 7, 2026
2. May 11 August 14, 2026
3. May 18 August 21, 2026

Open to hiring candidates that reside anywhere near our three primary regions:

• West (Grand Rapids)
• East (Southfield)
• South (St. Joseph)

Job Summary

This internship offers hands-on experience in cloud cost management, financial analysis, and operational efficiency within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Engineering, and Cloud Operations to support initiatives that improve cloud cost visibility, accountability, and optimization. Financial analytical skills and technical cloud skills will be highly beneficial in this role.

Essential Functions

• Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
• Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
• May analyzes department processes and other Corewell Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate. Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
• Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in high school or have graduated from high school, or are enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the area of accountability.
• May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.
