Clinical Therapist in Behavioral Health

FTE: Part Time, 0.5, 40.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is based on your relevant experience.

As a Clinical Therapist in Behavioral Health, you will:

• Provide effective counseling and therapy to patients in both individual and group settings, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments of patients as well as their families and caregivers to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Coordinate and arrange necessary internal and external services, including participating in case reviews to assess patient progress.
• Assist with discharge planning, identifying community resources and providing referrals, while collaborating with care team members to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
• Utilize various teaching methods to meet educational needs of patients and families, while also participating in training new staff, students, and interns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as LCSW, LPC, MFT, or ACD, or other relevant certification approved by department leadership.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced CPI training within 30 days of hire and annual recertification.
