Oncology Research Nurse

An experienced Oncology Research Nurse is needed to join a dedicated team focused on groundbreaking research in urology, specifically targeting Prostate, Bladder, Renal, BPH, and Overactive Bladder. The role involves performing clinical procedures and contributing to radio pharm studies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical research and trials in the field of oncology and urology.
• Pre-screen patients and manage patient recruitment for ongoing studies.
• Perform clinical procedures as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Manage data and complete Case Report Forms (CRFs) efficiently.
• Report adverse events and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
• Coordinate with Institutional Review Boards (IRB) for study approvals.

Essential Skills

• LPN or RN with valid KS and MO licensure--no disciplines
• Previous experience in clinical research, particularly in oncology or urology.
• Familiarity with clinical trial processes and patient management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory compliance and data management.
• Knowledge of urology oncology, including conditions like Prostate, Bladder, Renal, BPH, and OAB.
• Strong skills in adverse event reporting and oncology nursing.

Work Environment

The role involves working at the Lenexa, KS location for administrative tasks and traveling to North Kansas City for study-related activities. This position offers a dynamic work environment dedicated to advancing medical research and providing excellent care to study participants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas and North Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr.
