Key Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients based on physician directives.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members on patient care.
• Assess nutritional intake methods and evaluate referrals properly.
• Maintain accurate patient records according to established standards.
• Implement nutritional care plans and adapt menus for special dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and provide actionable recommendations.
• Review and approve menus for their nutritional value.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
• State licensure is mandatory.
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited institution.
• Preferred one year of experience in Clinical Dietetics.
