Job Description

• Effectively implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, and documents care following company policies and compliance regulations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess and identify patient conditions.
• Continuously assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to the care provided.
• Utilizes sound nursing judgment in making patient care management decisions.
• Provides both primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Administers medications, both over-the-counter and prescription, as per physician orders.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for all patients.
• Leads and guides ancillary personnel while maintaining the highest professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a conferred Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Must hold a current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Exceptional communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Possesses knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques applicable to departmental and patient care quality improvement.
