Join our dynamic team, where you will be pivotal in assessing, coordinating, and implementing top-notch patient care that focuses on achieving optimal outcomes throughout the patient's care journey.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

Implementing physician orders and administering medications.
Starting IVs and performing treatments, procedures, and special tests.
Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care.
Applying sound nursing judgment in care management decisions.
Providing both primary and emergency care for a variety of injuries and illnesses.
Collaborating with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care for patients.
Guiding ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree).
Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Prior experience as a PCA or in another nursing assistant role is preferred.
Desire to enhance job performance through continuing education.
Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and techniques.
