Clinical Nurse III - Cardiac Cath Lab

Join our dedicated team in the Adult Cardiac Cath Lab as a Clinical Nurse III! With a work schedule of 40 hours per week during the day, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive top-notch care.

Salary Range: $88,192.00 - $136,697.60

As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing patient care throughout their episode of care, with a focus on their progress towards discharge.
• Delivering and coordinating patient care in collaboration with the caregiving team.
• Providing compassionate and competent care to all customers, including patients, hospital staff, and referring facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and diagnostic tests.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Evaluating patient needs and responses to delivered care.
• Applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
• Providing primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Directing and guiding ancillary personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical RN experience required, including a minimum of 1 year in Telemetry or ICU.
• Dedication to improving job performance through continuing education.
• Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques applicable to patient care quality improvement.
