Optum is on the lookout for a dedicated Clinic Ultrasound Technologist Level I to join our team. Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound exams as ordered by qualified providers, employing high-frequency sound waves for diagnostic purposes according to established protocols.
- Participate in varied imaging services, including potential assignments in sonohysterography and vascular ultrasound depending on the site.
- Utilize the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Patient Archiving System (PACS) for clerical processes and digital image management.
- Be adaptable to take on additional technical or non-technical duties as deemed suitable by your supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited program.
- Education sufficient to meet RDMS or ARRT (S) applicant status.
- RDMS OR RT(R)(S) certification is required within one year of the hire date or be a current applicant for these certifications.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Computer proficiency, including keyboard usage and digital image acquisition.
