JOB SUMMARY

Your role will involve safely and efficiently transporting products from our warehouse to various customers, ensuring proper delivery and unloading according to invoices and company standards.

• Overnight Deliveries, Dispatch Sunday - Friday.
• Most routes last no more than 36 hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload products from trailer to designated customer storage areas safely and efficiently.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and submit on time.
• Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Establish positive relationships with customers through excellent service.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent, with 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred; completion of a tractor trailer driving school is acceptable.
• Proficient in reading and speaking English for effective communication and understanding of safety regulations.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, and must be insurable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Skills for driving in various weather and terrain, customer communication, and problem-solving.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials and frozen, dry, and refrigerated items safely.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds with a hand cart; climbing and bending are also needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Will occasionally face wet, hot, cold, or humid conditions while working overnight, including weekends and holidays, and may be exposed to mechanical parts.
