Class A CDL Truck Operator

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Operator to drive various heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at our customer locations. You will operate vehicles such as vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs, playing a crucial role in hazardous waste clean-up operations.

Hours:

Shift Options:

• Shift 1 - 3am to 3pm
• Shift 2 - 5am to 5pm
• Shift 3 - 7am to 7pm

Responsibilities:

• Make health and safety your first priority by adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and collaborate with field laborers in a team-oriented environment.
• Manage loading and unloading operations of trucks.
• Engage in manual labor on-site to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles in compliance with Company and DOT standards.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports accurately.
• Follow compliance regulations at all levels - local, state, and federal.
• Safely operate vehicles according to all guidelines and regulations.
• Adhere to company environmental health and safety protocols.
• Complete additional duties as assigned, including site remediation and handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Tanker endorsement required
• Ability to utilize various mobile devices
• Capable of performing physical tasks as required
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical examination
• Must meet facial hair standards if required to use respirators as per OSHA standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a commercial driver
• Previous Hazmat handling experience
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles
• Prior manual labor experience
