Are you ready to advance your career in the foodservice industry with a company that values its drivers? US Foods is searching for dedicated Class A CDL Truck Drivers to transport a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, and dry goods, to and from our dispatch sites.

About US Foods: As one of the largest food distributors, we are proud of our culture of promoting from within and providing excellent training programs focused on continuous improvement.

Schedule: Monday to Friday with multiple days out during the week, dispatch begins around 2-3 AM on Mondays, and returns by 3-4 PM on Fridays. Enjoy the benefits of a no-touch freight environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate your truck to various vendors and company drop-off locations.
• Verify freight accuracy, necessary trailer temperatures, and documentation with vendors.
• Return the tractor and trailer to our division upon route completion.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to drive in inclement weather and make frequent stops (10+ per shift).
• Capability to perform coupling maneuvers with the Tractor/Trailer.

What You Bring:

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residency with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience, or three months in the food and beverage delivery sector.
• Preference for candidates who can operate manual transmissions; this may be required in specific locations.
• Willingness to travel 2-3 times per week is essential.
• Fluency in English, including the ability to understand and respond to traffic signs and complete reports.

Compensation is competitive based on experience, specific skills, function, and geographic location. Expected base pay ranges from $24 to $27 per hour, with additional overtime compensation, retention bonuses, and other benefits.
