What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and file a DOT inspection report.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and manage keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Drive the tractor-trailer to various destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain driver logs (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations, noting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload trailers and deliver products into customer premises.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for CDL-A Delivery Drivers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• This role requires the ability to read, write, and understand English proficiently, ensuring safety and compliance with operational standards.
