Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver

Position Description

We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver. Join our dynamic team and enjoy a rewarding career with competitive pay and benefits!

You can expect to earn between $1,900 - $2,200+ Weekly Average, with pay structured as follows:

• Weekly Pay for Drivers
• Solo Mileage Pay: $0.62 per Mile with 2000 - 3000 Miles per Week
• Stop Pay: $50.00 per Stop with 8 to 10 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $45 per night for 2 - 3 Nights per Week
• Detention Pay: $35; Drop/Hook Pay: $37.00 (5 per week)
• Required Endorsements: Hazmat & Tanker; Tanker experience is necessary at the time of the interview.
• Tractor Type: Sleeper; Manual Transmission only.
• Safety Bonus: Up to $4,500; broken down into increments of $1,500 after 3, 6, and 9 months.
• Paid Training Provided
• Schedule: Monday - Friday; with a rotating Sunday Dispatch twice a month.
• Start Time: Between 3AM - 6AM

• Regional Route with 2 - 3 Layovers per Week
• Liquid Tanker Trailer
• No Touch Freight - Drivers will connect hoses and pressurize the trailer with assistance.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test and Background Check, including previous employers' Drug and Alcohol verifications
• Satisfy a DOT physical examination
• Successfully complete a Ryder road test
• Hold appropriate Class A CDL and endorsements
• Minimum driving experience needed: 9 months in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, rules, and procedures effectively

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and guidelines
• Identify and address safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Assist with freight loading/unloading as required
• Perform other assigned duties
