JOB SUMMARY

As a Delivery Operator, you will efficiently transport products from our warehouse to various customers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely unload products from trailers and store them according to customer specifications.
• Complete necessary paperwork in compliance with company and governmental guidelines.
• Ensure food safety protocols are met during deliveries.
• Build strong customer relationships through courteous service and effective communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school is acceptable.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices is essential. Skills needed include driving over various terrains and communicating effectively. The ability to plan, organize, and solve problems independently is crucial.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This role requires lifting, pushing, and moving products that may weigh up to 50 pounds manually and up to 350 pounds using a hand cart. It also involves climbing in and out of the vehicle and maintaining alertness in various traffic and weather conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The job may expose you to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and mechanical parts. Evening schedules, including weekends and holidays, are required to meet customers' needs.
