Overview
We are looking for a Claims Service Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative support to facilitate the efficient handling of liability and workers compensation claims. This is an entry-level role and experience in a claims' environment is not necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. How you'll make an impact
What a day will look like
- Set up and maintain client files, ensuring compliance with company service standards for claim handling.
- Transmit claims documents, form letters, and other administrative documentation to appropriate parties promptly and accurately.
- Review and manage email and mail, compose and type routine correspondence, and ensure effective communication with clients and internal teams.
- Process and print loss run reports, disseminating reports to the appropriate staff members for review and action.
- Create, maintain and run various departmental reports as required, providing insights and updates.
- Assist in coordinating claims processes, ensuring timely submission and follow-up on claims.
- Accurately enter and update claims information in relevant databases and systems.
- Undertake various duties as assigned.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail while working under pressure
- Ability to organize, prioritize, monitor and control workflow, with close attention to deadlines
- Be energetic/have a sense of urgency
Required
- 0+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
- Be able to work on site, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- High School Diploma/GED or college degree
