Certified Surgical Scrub Technician - Rogers, AR
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (hours may vary)
No weekends, holidays, or on-call
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,650 (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Scrub Technician for an 8-week contract with one of our respected healthcare partners in Rogers, Arkansas . This is a fantastic opportunity for a surgical tech seeking consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and a supportive team environment.
Main Function:
The Surgical Scrub Technician is a vital member of the surgical team, working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other surgical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. The technician assumes appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and the scrub tech's role in each.
Assemble supplies, instruments, and equipment per surgeon preference cards.
Correctly use, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation for sterilization, cleaning, and related records.
Assist with maintaining and restocking operating room supplies.
Monitor sterile technique and report breaks in protocol.
Operate OR equipment such as video tools, power instruments, lasers, and microscopes.
Promote teamwork and effective communication among the surgical team.
Ensure a professional, respectful environment for patients, families, and staff.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.

Education and Certification Requirements:

Required:
One-year certificate from a college or technical school; or
1+ year of related experience/training; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or equivalent certification. Equipment and Technology Used:

Operating room instrumentation and surgical tools

Video and imaging systems, lasers, power tools, and microscopes

Sterilization and clinical equipment (suction devices, stretchers, warmers)
