Shifts: 4 days x 10 hour shifts 6:45a-5:15p or 2 days x 12 hours shifts (6:45a-7:15p) or 2 days x 8 hour shifts (6:45a-3:15p). On Call: 2 night calls during the week (5p-7a) per week and 1 weekend call per month 1 holiday call. 6 Operating Room Suites. Surgical Services: Orthopedics - trauma limb lengthening limb deformity bone infections/tumors joint preservation & replacement pediatric orthopedics and foot & ankle.

As a member of the surgical team in the RIAO the SPECIALTY SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Certifications Licenses Registrations: Licensed Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test) American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS CPR Certification Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate CST - Certified Surgical Technologist - already obtained.
