Schedule: Full Time - 8 hour shifts 5 days a week that includes both Sat and Sunday (Weds-Sun, Thurs-Mon, Fri-Tues etc.)

The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Redmond

The role you'll contribute: Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Provides direct and indirect Occupational Therapy services to inpatients and outpatients in the pediatric (1 year old and over), adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Employee has responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Fish Memorial Corporate Compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state and federal agencies and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Implements treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist.

• Uses appropriate therapy procedures, documents data, and follows individualized care plans set by the occupational therapist.

• Provides patient and family education, including home exercise programs for treatment carryover into the discharge setting.

• Conducts age-appropriate assessments and interventions, completing annual age-specific competencies relevant to the scope of care.

• Acts as a clinical instructor and provides mentorship to students and new staff, fostering a supportive and educational environment.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:

• Associate Required

• Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Required

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
