Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.50
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 available

Department Details:

• Schedules vary; availability for all shifts and weekends is required.
• No block schedules will be issued, but you will receive your work schedule two weeks in advance.
• Overtime and shift differentials are available when applicable.
• No mandatory overtime; you will be informed of on-call responsibilities.
• The position allows flexibility from a minimum of 24 hours per week up to full-time status.

Role Overview:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate, resident-centered care in long-term care settings. You will assist with daily living activities, promote the comfort and well-being of our residents, and work under the supervision of registered nursing staff. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care such as bathing, grooming, and assisting with toileting.
• Recording vital signs and documenting all pertinent resident care details.
• Supporting residents in mobility, including transferring and walking.
• Assisting with meal preparation, dining, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Communicating any changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff.
• Helping maintain a clean and safe environment in resident living areas.
• Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience is a plus.
• Must possess state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or obtain it within four months of hire.
• Ongoing training and continuing education of at least 12 hours annually are required.
