Salary Range: $22.61 - $27.59

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a critical member of our long-term care team, dedicated to delivering personalized care and assistance to residents. In this role, you will:

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Deliver age-appropriate care according to the resident’s care plan, catering to both physical and psychological needs.
• Assist residents with essential health care tasks including grooming, bathing, and dressing.
• Monitor and record vital signs, as well as communicate changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
• Foster positive dining experiences by assisting with meals and snacks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in residents' living areas.
• Encourage resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.
• Complete necessary documentation of resident interactions and care measures.
• Participate in departmental committees and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
• Minimum age of 16 required; prior experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must possess or obtain Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification as per state regulations.
• Commitment to completing annual competency testing and continuing education.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record may be required for certain tasks.
