SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate nursing team. In this crucial role, you will provide exceptional, individualized patient care and ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents. Your proactive approach and commitment to maintaining high standards of care are vital for team success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Patient Care & Service: Assist residents in activities of daily living according to individualized care plans; transport residents to and from activities; engage in leisure activities; evaluate and report on patient progress; offer emotional support to residents and their families.

• Safety: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.

• Communication & Documentation: Provide timely responses to resident requests; guide families to appropriate professional staff; effectively communicate with team members about resident needs and conditions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in New York State.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work - Requires the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force consistently to move objects; involves frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
