Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and installation of electrical projects and equipment.
• Coordinate installation efforts with other team members.
• Consult with operators, supervisors, and engineers to optimize equipment layout and address system issues.
• Evaluate standardized equipment and develop specifications for additional functions.
• Work safely with voltage levels up to 480 and 4160, including wiring Variable Frequency Drives.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine installation procedures.
• Set up parameters and limits for instrumentation calculations.
• Modify electronic devices and circuits to meet specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure proper equipment function.
• Diagnose and repair faulty equipment using test equipment and software.
• Maintain equipment performance logs and assist with inventory management for spare parts.
• Flexibility to work extended and varying shifts as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adhere to the National Electric Code and Cargill standards.
• Participate in ongoing skill development and training.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Aged 18 or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including climbing and working in confined spaces.
• Lift at least 50 pounds.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills to enter and retrieve data.
• Experience with blueprints and schematics.
• Willingness to work in challenging conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC wiring and programming.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• State of Nebraska or equivalent licensure.
• A 2-year degree in electrical systems or related fields.
