Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Conduct pre/post trip inspections on the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report.
• Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Operate the tractor-trailer to the destination, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills.
• Maintain a driver log in accordance with DOT regulations, noting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations.
• Complete other assigned tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 21 years of age.
• A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• The ability to read, write, and understand English well enough to perform job tasks effectively and safely.
