Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Perform inspections on the tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips, submitting DOT inspection reports.
• Verify accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Drive the tractor-trailer to designated locations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maneuvering skills.
• Maintain a driver log (manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailers, ensuring proper delivery of products to customer premises.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a proficient level to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including compliance with safety protocols.
