Position Description

Join our team as a Team Truck Driver and enjoy a guaranteed minimum weekly earnings of $1682 per driver with opportunities to earn even more!

Our dedicated Class A CDL Truck Drivers at Ryder are equipped with automatic restrictions for added convenience. Experience the Ryder difference, where transparency and your best interest come first!

• Weekly Pay
• Guaranteed Minimum Earnings: $1682 Per Week
• Miles Pay: $0.325 per Mile, with up to 5000 Miles per Week
• Additional Pay: Stop and Drop/Hook Pay
• Shutdown Bonus: Earn $2000 in two installments during your first year
• Safety Bonus: Up to $250 per quarter if applicable
• Schedule: Monday to Saturday

Our trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24-hour roadside maintenance services across over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Team Deliveries to: KY, TN, NC, SC, IN, GA, FL, AR, TX
• Home Time: Home Weekly on Weekends
• Tractor Type: Sleeper
• Trailer Type: Dry Van 53'

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Successful completion of a drug test
• Passing background and motor vehicle check
• DOT physical exam required
• Passing Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Verifiable Class A experience:
• 9 months within the last 3 years, OR
• 2 years within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow instructions and apply relevant regulations

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
• Identify and address safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Assist with loading/unloading freight when necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned
