Job Description

Under general supervision, the CCL Radiology Technologist operates digital radiological imaging equipment, oversees quality control, enforces radiation safety principles, and assists cardiologists, pulmonologists, and CV surgeons during procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and operating equipment, monitoring events, performing quality control, assisting with patient transportation, and being on-call when assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• California Radiology Technologist - Fluoroscopy (CRT-F).
• Registered Technologist for Radiography (ARRT R.T(R)).
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at hire, with a commitment to obtain ART within six months.
• Two or more years of experience as a licensed radiology technologist.
• Knowledge of CR and DR technology, RIS, and HIS.
• Training in another modality for cross coverage.
• Ability to develop good working relationships tactfully.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in interventional radiology or cardiac catheterization lab.
• UCSD experience.

Special Conditions

• Flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and call.
• Subject to background check and physical.
• Ability to wear lead apron.

Pay and Employment Info

Annual Full Pay Range: $120,478 - $149,835 (prorated if less than 100%). Hourly: $57.70 - $71.76. Compensation factors include experience, skills, education, licensure, and organizational needs.
