Cardiology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Internal Medicine/Family Care/Geriatric NP Locum to work coverage in Fairbanks, Alaska. Three-Months 2026 - Length of Assignment: January-March, or as soon as credentialed. Ask if you are a Locum considering a Permanent roll-over.

The Internal/Family Care/Geriatric NP Role(s):

• Schedule: Monday -Friday, 8 hours daily
• Shifts: 7a-4p; 8a-5p
• Setting: Family Medicine/Internal Medicine/Wound Care
• Prescriptive Authority: Schedule II Medications
• Scope: Transfers - Denali Center
  • Short-term patients requiring IV antibiotic therapy, and PT rehab
  • Long-term patients: ages - young adults with severe traumatic brain injuries to moderately complex chronic cases, and dementia patients.
  • Supports Physician with 45 direct-patient caseloads (20-hours per week)
  • Hospice related services
  • Overall census: 60-70 patients

Requirements of the Internal/Family Care/Geriatric NP role:

• AK state license; active, unrestricted.
• Board certified.
• Certifications - BLS an/or ACLS
• COVID vaccination.
• 2-years of clinical experience
• CV education and work history in MM/YYYY format
