Join our dedicated team as a Cardiology Clinical Nurse Educator Coordinator! We are looking for passionate individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or an Associate's degree in Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in progress. Ideally, you should have 1 year of experience in invasive cardiology and 2 years in a cardiovascular, emergency department, or critical care setting. Experience in a leadership role such as Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Lead, Project Liaison, or Supervisor is highly preferred. If you have experience in education development, teaching, or precepting new staff, we want to hear from you!
Location: UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $40.86 - $63.33 / hour depending on relevant experience
Summary:
You will organize and coordinate the activities and flow of work for our program, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate program activities and workflow
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for program development and problem resolution
- Facilitate the implementation and evaluation of program services and educational initiatives
- Act as a resource for clinical practice, policies, and program services
- Provide direct patient care as necessary
- Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or ADN with BSN in progress
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 3 years of related experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, card in-hand before start date
