Schedule: Full time, Day Shifts (7:30 am - 5:30 pm)

Salary Range: $34.00 - $49.50 per hour

Job Summary:

As a Cardiac Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will utilize sophisticated imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment to assess and treat conditions related to cardiac and peripheral vascular disease. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and analyzing patients’ electrocardiogram (EKG) and intracardiac pressures.
• Assisting the medical team with sterile procedures.
• Operating X-ray and laboratory equipment effectively.
• Managing blood samples and sterile supplies as needed.
• Providing advanced care to patients with rhythm disturbances and understanding pharmacologic options.
• Working with diverse patient populations, including neonates to geriatrics.
• Ensuring adherence to special protocols for conscious sedation patients.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in electrophysiology and cardiovascular technology, including pharmacology.
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification required within 18 months of hire.
• Preferred: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
