Job Summary:
The Business Process Analyst is responsible for capturing, defining, documenting, and maintaining detailed process and workflow models to drive operational efficiency and process improvement. This role bridges business operations and technical teams to ensure alignment on process design, system functionality, and reporting needs. The analyst will design and evaluate test plans, analyze data to identify performance indicators, and recommend actionable improvements. Additionally, this role provides mentorship and training on process modeling standards, data interpretation, and operational analysis best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture, define, document, and maintain detailed process/workflow models.
Create and manage process documentation, including business requirements, use cases, and test plans.
Design, execute, and evaluate test plans to ensure data accuracy in reports and dashboards.
Facilitate communication among technical and non-technical stakeholders to analyze and validate requirements.
Mentor and guide teams on standards, business analysis, and effective use of process documentation.
Conduct root cause analysis and impact assessments to identify process performance indicators and recommend improvements.
Prepare and deliver presentations that clearly explain complex processes to non-technical audiences.
Review process improvement requests and assess their potential benefits.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to align goals and ensure effective execution.
Support system testing, validation, and after-hours production releases as needed.
Develop production plans, forecasts, and workload analyses.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelorâ€™s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues.
Proficiency in business process modeling, workflow documentation, and data analysis.
Experience in facilitating cross-functional discussions and translating business needs into technical requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting).
Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification preferred.
Advanced degree or professional designation is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience developing and documenting business process models.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and workflow optimization.
Ability to analyze process improvement requests and determine feasibility.
Familiarity with production planning, workload forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

Education:
