Business Development Representative

Fulgent Genetics is looking for a goal-oriented self-starter to join our business development team! As leaders in our industry we seek qualified and science-oriented individuals who can bring our innovative solutions to the market to support clinicians, researchers, and partners in the Biotech and Pharma sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in everyday business functions such as Business Development, Marketing, Project Management, Customer Service, and Account Management.
• Identify client needs and propose appropriate products or services.
• Conduct product/service presentations at sales events, conferences, medical institutions, research institutions, or for other business partners.
• Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into clients.
• Initiate and maintain contact with clients and prospects.
• Analyze sales data, google analytics, current market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Create sales reports for management review.
• Contribute to pricing, promotion, and product strategies based on sales data and analysis.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in related field.
• Knowledge in genetics required. Knowledge in NGS & genomics preferred.
• Availability to travel ?25% of the time.
• Self-motivated, accountable for managing his/her own time.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Goal oriented, fast learner with the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving market.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, and flexible.
• Honest and responsible.
