Responsibilities for a Business Analyst include but are not limited to:

• Process and analyze data related to option exercises and assignments, physical deliveries, expirations, last trade date monitoring, long date reporting, and open interest adjustments.

• Respond to regulator inquiries as raised, in partnership with OR&C, GCOR, and Regulatory Relations.

• Identify, evaluate, and implement improvements to lifecycle event processing and operational controls.

• Support the development and automation of various metrics utilized for management reporting and decision-making.

• Contribute to initiatives impacting the lifecycle event processing team and overall operational efficiency.

• Deliver quality service by providing effective and efficient support to internal business partners.

• Manage risk by accurately following procedures and adhering to policy requirements.

• Display professionalism, flexibility, and commitment while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates for Business Analyst must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) Operations , with prior experience in either clearing or position lifecycle management.

• Strong understanding of industry rules, regulations, and business practices .

• Experience using an Exchange Traded Derivatives clearing platform and/or Exchange GUIs .

• Experience with the GMI platform is desirable but not required.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Strong communication, partnership, and relationship-building skills .

• Ability to work at a fast pace in a high-volume environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Proven commitment to identifying and driving process improvements .

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is a requirement .

• Confident communicator who proactively identifies and raises risks and issues.

• Pay: $48.44 per hour

• Shift: Monday – Friday, between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL (60661)

Pay Details: $48.44 per hour
