Our client, a leading provider of facility maintenance and technical services, is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer or Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Engineer or Technician you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic mechanical knowledge, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Engineer or Technician

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $30/hr. - $35/hr.

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities
• Assist with installation and modification of building systems and equipment
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and track completion
• Support energy management efforts to ensure systems operate efficiently
• Inspect installations for compliance with safety and building codes

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs/ladders, and standing for extended periods
• Basic computer and tablet skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset
