Job Title: Systems Engineer III

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  Develop and program a written sequence of operations based on mechanical drawings.

  n

• n

  Lead and schedule commissioning efforts

  n
n
• n

  Actively participate in LEED commissioning and coordination meetings

  n
n
• n

  Understand the design of mechanical equipment and systems.

  n
n
• n

  Chiller, Boiler, Custom AHU's, Primary/Secondary pumping, Variable flow Chilled water plants, Clean Room Applications, Demand Response

  n
n
• n

  Design and implement complex electrical control circuits.

  n
n
• n

  Hardwired Interlocks and Relay logic

  n
n
• n

  Provide solutions for energy-saving opportunities and potential scopes of work for control implementation.

  n
n
• n

  Perform training for Systems Engineer I and II.

  n
n

Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

n
• n

  Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.

  n
n
• n

  10 + years of direct automation experience with control systems and programming required.

  n
n
• n

  Working knowledge of at least three HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover)

  n
n
• n

  Knowledge of mechanical systems

  n
n
• n

  Ability to interface with customers at a supervisory and management level.

  n
n
• n

  Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and computer programming.

  n
n
• n

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  n
n
• n

  Good computer skills, understanding of controls networking.

  n
n
• n

  A valid driver's license is required.

  n
n

Compensation Range: $66.00 - $76.00 per hour
