Forklift Operator
We are seeking skilled high reach forklift operators to efficiently supply assemblers with materials for production and transport completed parts to the shipping department for delivery. Operators may also be involved in shipping and receiving tasks, such as loading trucks with completed parts for dispatch. The role requires proficiency in operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, depending on assignment.
Supply assemblers with necessary materials for production.
Transport completed parts to the shipping department.
Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and effectively.
Assist in shipping and receiving areas as needed.
Load trucks with completed parts for shipment.
Proven ability to operate high-reach forklifts safely.
Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in both stand-up and sit-down forklift operation.
Ability to demonstrate forklift operation skills through a practical test.
Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment is beneficial.
The work environment is fast-paced and customer-focused, with operations taking place in tight quarters. Safety is paramount due to the high number of forklifts and personnel in the facility. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be warm in the summer and cool in the winter. This is a unionized environment, and employees will be expected to pay union dues.

This is a contract to hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.
The pay range for this position is $19.93 - $27.80/hr.
