We are partnered with a well-established and growing Engineering firm that's seeking an experienced Bridge Structural Group Manager to lead their growing bridge design team in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri with a strong background in bridge design, rehabilitation, and project delivery for state and local transportation clients. This leadership role will combine technical expertise, project management, and team development responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Bridge Structural Group, overseeing staff, workload, and project delivery.
• Serve as project manager and technical lead for bridge and structural engineering projects for MoDOT, municipalities, and other clients.
• Provide design expertise in steel, concrete, and prestressed concrete bridge structures, retaining walls, and culverts.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, pursue new business opportunities, and assist in proposal preparation.
• Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence within the team.
• Ensure quality control, adherence to budgets and schedules, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Missouri Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of experience in bridge and structural design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or project management role.
• Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and MoDOT standards.
• Proficiency in bridge design software (e.g., LEAP Bridge, MIDAS, LARSA, SAP2000, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects.
