Responsibilities
Supervise the behavioral health program.

• Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
• Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations.
• Apply progressive discipline when appropriate.
• Participate in hiring and termination procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes.
• Participate in direct delivery of care depending on patient census.
• Complete patient evaluations and treatments as needed.
• Direct, oversee, coordinate, and control the admission, customer service representatives, and case management departments in accordance with the established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; regulatory agencies; and third-party payers.

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
  • Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Psychologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences
REQUIRED: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
LCSW/LCPC Required
Shift : Mon - Fri with 2 evenings (7:00 PM latest end time) on-site
Weekend hours for community event
This position will be a balance of clinical and administrative
Minimum 3 years Behavioral Health experience with a focus in Autism or Developmental Disabilitie
Minimum 1 year of prior leadership experience
