Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
As a Behavioral Health Crisis Co-Responder, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals facing social, emotional, economic, and environmental challenges. You will work closely with local first response agencies, utilizing your expertise to provide immediate on-site assistance for individuals in crisis.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and assessments for patients and/or their families, caregivers, or legal representatives.
- Identify and prioritize various interventions and services needed, actively participating in case reviews to monitor progress and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
- Respond in the field alongside law enforcement to offer critical support for individuals experiencing crises, including facilitating access to transportation, housing, healthcare, and social/spiritual services.
- Provide training and supervision for new staff, students, and interns within the team.
- Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment skills to operate effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Social Service or a related Behavioral Health field.
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD). Relevant life support certification may be required based on the position.
