In our center-based setting, you'll work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 8 years, employing ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques under top-tier supervision and ongoing training.
Your Role as a Behavior Therapist
- Implement ABA Therapy: Use one-on-one ABA therapy techniques to assist children with Autism in reaching their fullest potential by following treatment plans and collecting data on their progress.
- Foster Development: Use engaging therapeutic activities to support the development of young children in a fun and stimulating environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated team to optimize treatment effectiveness and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Engage through Play: Interact with children through energetic activities like running, dancing, playing games, reading, and more to create a joyful therapeutic atmosphere.
- Communicate Effectively: Coordinate with peers, families, and supervisors to celebrate success and address the individual needs of each child.
Job Requirements
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move children in a dynamic environment, including lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to engage with children.
- Maintain Therapy Environment: Ensure that therapy spaces are clean, organized, and conducive to effective learning and fun.
- Multitasking Skills: Balance multiple tasks, decisions, and communications effectively while ensuring safety for all involved.
- Team Support: Work collaboratively with your center and regional team, including travel to nearby centers when needed.
- Transport Required: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary.
- Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent; a Master's degree is required.
Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing a training curriculum and competency assessment.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:
Masters: $22.00 - $28.00
Entry-level candidates earn their first raise upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.
Preferred Experience Includes:
- Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, tutor, etc.)
- Mental health professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
- Camp counselors or Sunday school teachers
- Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields
- Experience in direct support or as life skills assistants
- A passion for working with children on the Autism spectrum
- A desire to join a supportive, team-oriented culture
