As a Product Manager on the Commercial Systems team, you will own and deliver part of the roadmap for Vendor Management tools. With the goal of transforming the tools to deliver the best experience for our customers. you will work closely with your cross-functional teams (business owners, developers, QA, UX design) to span the product lifecycle from ideation-strategizing to execution-delivery.
Recipe for Success - What's "in store" for the role
•Work with product leaders, development teams and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles.
•Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement roadmap.
•Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams.
•Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.
•Act as an ambassador for the product internally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
•Ensure both quality and functional goals are met with each sprint.
•Deliver key messages to stakeholders on product deploys and escalate issues accordingly.
•Interpret and adhere to standard legal, compliance, and business rules during program design and development.
•The role will involve hands on work in terms of writing functional stories, acceptance criteria, testing and analysis and will follow Agile ceremonies (Release Planning, Sprint planning/ Retro / Review, etc.) and principles throughout the product development phases.
•Become an expert on your products and champion the needs of the customer and PDL/AD USA business goals. •Vet scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents and design specifications, in partnership with UX, product managers, QA and engineering. •Bachelors degree (in computer science, information systems or related field is a plus)
•2-4 years of product management experience
•Experience working in an agile development environment and managing iteration-level deliverables.
•Previous experience with e-commerce or brick and mortar data management systems.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team

•Previous experience with vendor management, supplier and sourcing tools for omnichannel retailers.
•Previous experience in the grocery or retail industry. •Track record of successful delivery of medium to large scale software development projects to production.
•Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
•Self-motivation with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
