As the Associate Chief Medical Officer, you will be instrumental in supervising, coaching, and training Clinical Directors within your assigned area. Your responsibilities involve ensuring our centers meet performance objectives, managing financial growth, and fostering a positive culture within our teams. In this role, you will also engage in direct patient care, serving as a Primary Care Physician (PCP) alongside your leadership duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical outcomes and day-to-day operations of Medical Directors across multiple centers.
- Ensure successful clinical operations while meeting or exceeding financial goals.
- Mentor and coach Medical Directors to foster outstanding clinical outcomes.
- Support the development and training of providers and staff within your centers.
- Promote a strong physician culture aligned with our core values and service standards.
- Participate in recruitment and selection of PCPs and specialists.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including payers and the community.
- Respond promptly to workplace culture issues and maintain physician engagement.
- Deliver exceptional clinical care while actively managing your own patient panel (20%).
Qualifications:
- MD or DO in a relevant specialty with current, active medical license.
- A minimum of 2 years' clinical experience is required; 3 years preferred.
- Preferred experience as a Medical Director or equivalent, particularly with Medicare/Medicaid populations.
- Proficiency in clinical leadership responsibilities with demonstrated success.
- Strong knowledge of population risk management and chronic disease care.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate diverse teams.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $231,876 - $331,251
