Assistant Reservations Manager

Hilton Boston Park Plaza is looking for an Assistant Reservations Manager to join the Reservations Team. This is one of Boston's most historic hotels, with a premier Back Bay location, with Boston Common and the Public Garden just steps away from the hotel.

The ideal candidate for this role has min. 2 years of Front Office/Reservations supervisory experience, excellent communication skills, is a team player and has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Boston's most iconic hotel and grow within the hospitality industry.

Shift Pattern: Typical schedule will be Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM, with flexibility to work some weekends, when needed.

What will I be doing?

• Oversees the efficient operation of the reservations department and the group reservation process to accommodate guest needs and maximize revenue.
• Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
• Processes group reservation information including rooming lists, suites, resumes and billing requirements.
• Communicates and verifies information between Meeting Planners, Housing Bureaus, Meetings and Conventions and Front Office.
• Processes reservation request calls as appropriate, assists internal and external customers.
• Coordinates and implements department activities and projects. Provides clerical support and assistance to management.
